Online Video Distance Counseling in Georgia and South Carolina
We offer video sessions for clients throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Video sessions are completed using confidential HIPPA compliant software that you can use on your computer or phone. Video sessions are convenient for after school sessions for teenagers and adolescents and for sessions when you live in a rural area or can’t drive to the office or are out of state. They are also convenient if you don’t want to deal with Atlanta traffic. We offer the same expert care through our video sessions as we do our in-person sessions. We offer ongoing therapy through video and are also able to write gender affirming hormone and surgery letters as needed through video.
Video sessions allow you to have your therapy sessions at a time that is most convenient for you without having to deal with the hassle of traffic and missing work or school. In our video sessions, you can present in the way you feel most comfortable. Often we see clients through video from Savannah, Athens, Macon, and parts of north Georgia as well as St. Simons Island and all over Georgia and South Carolina including Charleston, Columbia and Greenville.
At the time of your appointment, you would log into our video platform, Doxy.me and you will receive a video call for you to answer and then our session will begin via video.
Sometimes, insurance covers video sessions and it’s best to check with your insurance company to see if they cover “telehealth” sessions. We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. We can give you a receipt or superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for video sessions if they are covered by your plan and we are out of network with your insurance.
